About Mrs. Kaycee Leanger:
I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my Savior at an early age in life. I had the privilege of experiencing multiple forms of schooling when I was growing up. I started my education in the public school system, was homeschooled for a few years and then moved to Christian schooling when I was in Jr. high. My family moved to Minnesota when I was in high school and I attended Fourth Baptist Christian School and church for the remainder of my high school years.
After high school, I attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College for a year and a half while also working in childcare. I reaffirmed my faith during my college years and ended up transferring to North Central University in Minneapolis. I married my husband, David, in 2008 and graduated in 2009 with a degree in elementary education and a minor in Bible.
After graduating, I worked as an after school care teacher in the Osseo district for two years. I felt God leading me in another direction and opened Little Footprints Daycare in my home. Little Footprints allowed me to continue to provide childcare without sacrificing the ability to raise my children at home.
David and I have three children; Allison, Ezekiel and Isaac. All three of my children attend FBCS. I am thankful that God has allowed me to transition from a daycare provider to a Christian school teacher. It has always been my dream to be a teacher at a Christian school and I am excited to see how God will use me to impact the lives of my students.
